If the patient needs longer than two years to completely straighten the smile, then the patient can try an aligner method. Aligners can work to straighten the teeth right up until the wedding day. Then the patient can take the aligner out for the wedding day photos. Once the big day has passed, the patient can then continue the aligner straightening process.
